Dock levellers
Novoferm's dock levellers with a hydraulically operated pivoting lip (NLS) create a perfect, safe and user-friendly bridge between the workfloor in the building and the floor of a heavy goods vehicle. When loading or unloading, materials handling equipment can be manoeuvred in and out of the vehicle across an even surface, continuously and in perfect safety.
Components and construction
The NLS leveller is made up of the following components:
a chassis
a deck, with a pivoting lip at the front
a hydraulic system that operates the deck and lip, consisting of a drive unit and deck and lip cylinder
a control panel with operating controls.
